The Montañas Púrpura or Purple Mountains are named for the tops of the mountains that appear purple in the daylight. Regardless of being in the Spanish ocean, these mountains are far cooler then any of the other territories. And for one week of winter it does snow. This is the only play in Salvaje Caballo to receive snow. There are various caves that offer protection from the elements and most of them have their own fresh water and even underground meadows!
