History : Born to light and neutral parents, Luz grew up more so on the gentle side of life. She was relatively sheltered, but learned some of her lessons the hard way. Heartbroken at two years old, Luz has not really tried to pursue male interest and found herself becoming a loner within her herd. She still held many of her herd mates’ respect, but eventually she left the heard at three years in search of something else- something different. Being herself, she managed to gain the respect of other mares and stallions that would let her join up with their herds in order to survive until she would move on once again.
Personality : Luz just has one of those personalities where she manages to gain the respect of others and never lies. She is rather quiet, but kind and willing to help. Through her experiences she has learned to be emotionally strong, however many have their breaking points. One of Luz’s downfalls though is that she can be rather submissive to the right touches and words by those smooth stallions. Anytime she starts to become emotionally attached, Luz will tend to try to push others away- it’s just something she does as she does have trust issues. Someone can trust her no problem, but she will not always trust them in fear of getting hurt.
Appearance : With a sleek black coat, 15 hh frame, good strong figure, thick mane, and flowing tail, Luz is certainly a looker. Yet even then her best feature in her opinion is her eyes. Large, brown, and expressive, they truly are a window to her old soul. They will show hurt and heartbreak, but a strength and determination to rival them.
